Emmy & Jacon's Wedding Box

The Story~

Emmy and Jacon really were fans of the Story aspect of their love story. They planned a small, informal outdoor wedding in lavender fields with just parents, siblings and their spouses, and a handful of close friends. It reflected both what they wanted their day to be, and also their budget.

They all spent the night before their wedding with all of their people at a Bed & Breakfast, and everyone had waffles and fruit, bacon and sausage for breakfast in their jeans before getting ready to all make the walk out into the lavender fields to exchange their vows.

They wanted everything inside the Boxilocks box to bring the whole experience to their friends and family across the country after the fact. Emmy is an elementary school teacher, and she wondered how we might include a bit of that, in a way that made sense.

The Box

Their Boxilocks box tells the story of how they met on the bottom, with a sweet picture of them on the front, and "One Day in May..." on the front flap, opening to ..."a new chapter began in our Love Story."

Their box contents included:

Story Card that tells the story of their wedding weekend.
Artisan pancake and waffle mix
Sachet of lavender from the fields
Upcycled hearts made from children's story board books (set of 3, all unique)
Anytime photo ornament with the pic of the couple on their wedding day, and their wedding date and a meaningful saying on the other side.

The Response

This was a case-study sample box, so couple and recipients were fictitious. Emmy & Jacon's wedding, however, is my absolute favorite. I'd love to receive this box~ no waffling on that!
